Sedona Lina Rueda: Cultural Park City Survey

Lina Rueda: Sedona Cultural Park City Survey

Posted on April 23, 2026April 25, 2026 by Lina Rueda

Concerned Citizen of Sedona – Lina Rueda
Cultural Park City Survey

Does the city of Sedona Government actually believe that we would accept their biased results from a virtually unmonitored survey? How can we know that these are truly residents of Sedona who actually took this survey when it says OR CURRENT RESIDENT? Is that what the city of Sedona government, is calling their margin of error? I called BS.

I received a card much like this one. I am sure most of you did too! OR CURRENT RESIDENT??

What??? the city of Sedona government absolutely has zero idea who is living in our city… if they are going to rely on a survey that any anybody; unregistered voters, guests at an Airbnb, the teenage kid, renters, guests, the friend of a friend of a friend… they cannot possibly regard the survey as accurate, even with a margin of error.

If you believe that this survey lends to an accurate survey results, I have no words for you. I invite you all to go and research this yourself. It’s ridiculous and a useless waste of government funding to come up with an inaccurate survey result which was created to meet their narrative for what they wanted the result to be. It was full of bias and disrespect for the entire community to be a part of a one sided survey. IF ONLY – Sedona’s dollars were spent more wisely… on a survey that we all could participate in, wholeheartedly.

I call it inaccurate because of the fact that they put OR CURRENT RESIDENT. Do you know how many people have moved, sold, or rented Airbnb? Not only that they published the percentage of affiliated parties, which is unnecessary to do in a non-partisan city government. City of Sedona Government, why did you feel it was necessary to post the affiliated parties within this survey? In my opinion, it could only cause more divide within our community.
In my strong opinion, this was an unmonitored survey and an exorbitant waste of money.

NO  on home rule!!

Thank You Lina. I totally agree that the survey was bias, confusing, and a waste of taxpayers’ money. The integrity and quality control of the process was Not professional. It seems to me that it was another of the city’s political stunts.
